The Böblingen Open is an established international chess tournament that brings together ambitious young talents, experienced title holders, and committed local players. We look forward to welcoming players to the 42nd Böblingen Open at the end of this year.

9 Rounds Swiss System. FIDE rated. Fischer time control: 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, then 30 minutes for the rest of the game, with an increment of 30 seconds per move.

Registration is possible online only with advance bank transfer. Cash payment on the day of play is not accepted.
GM, IM, WGM, and WIM are exempt from the entry fee.
